What to Expect

Thursday Night Lights is GED Lacrosse’s weekly pickup lacrosse experience for players in grades 6–8 who want to compete, play fast, and develop their game in a fun, high-energy environment. These sessions are built around playing the game. After a quick warm-up and team setup, players will spend the majority of the night competing in live, small-sided and full-field situations with GED coaches organizing teams, managing gameplay, and providing guidance along the way. Thursday Night Lights gives developing players more opportunities to make decisions, play through mistakes, build confidence, and learn how to compete without the structure of a traditional practice. It’s also a chance for middle school athletes from different schools and communities across San Diego to play together, build relationships, and strengthen the local lacrosse community.
