Cooper Sloan
President and Founder
Drawing on his experience as a high school and collegiate captain, coach, and mentor, Cooper develops athletes both on and off the field. His coaching goes beyond stick skills and game strategy, emphasizing the habits, discipline, and mindset that help players succeed in competition, the classroom, and life. Having seen firsthand how lacrosse can shape character and create opportunities, he believes the sport is one of the best vehicles for developing confident, resilient young leaders. Every training session is designed with a purpose: to help athletes improve their game, strengthen their character, and build the foundation for long-term success.
Mark Foundos
Board Member
Mark grew up in Glen Head, New York, in Nassau County, a longtime hotbed of lacrosse. After moving to San Diego in 2002, he became deeply involved in both the Francis Parker community and a number of local nonprofit organizations. Since joining the coaching staff at Francis Parker School in 2022, Mark has helped lead the program to two CIF Division II championships and a CIF Division I runner-up finish.
In addition to his coaching responsibilities, Mark supports GED’s fundraising, operations, and player development initiatives, including youth clinics and community outreach programs.
Jack Francis
Board Member
Jack brings to the table more than 50 years of lacrosse expertise. Originally from Maplewood, NJ, and part of Coach Curcio's 1979 Undefeated State Championship team, Jack became an All-American midfielder at the University of Maryland. He built a very successful career on Wall Street, before moving to Florida and introducing lacrosse to the area. In fact, he is known as the "Godfather of North Florida lacrosse" and played a critical role in developing Ponte Vedra High School into the national powerhouse it is today (ranking among the top 15 teams in the US). Jack is passionate about building on fundamentals, has a vast network at all levels of the sport, and has mentored hundreds of athletes, including some of the best in the sport ,on their path to the collegiate level.
